Investing in African Mining Seminars

MineAfrica organizes specialized seminars promoting mining investment into Africa featuring presentations by mining companies, financial, legal and engineering experts, and African, Canadian and other government representatives on specific projects and investment opportunities in Africa. Current venues include Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on Tuesday June 17, 2008, London, UK on Monday December 1, 2008, and Toronto, Canada on Tuesday March 3, 2009.

Our seminars allow mining companies, service providers and governments the opportunity to promote themselves to a high-level, international mining and financial audience with an interest in Africa. For Toronto we also provide an optional presence at the PDAC trade show in one of four MineAfrica shared booths which allows companies and governments the opportunity to exhibit in a cost-effective, professional and easy to implement manner that encourages and enhances networking opportunities.

Africa Investor Series co-sponsored by the Minerals Resources Analysts Group

This series is a unique program of interactive, boutique seminars themed around a specific commodity and/or focussed on a specific geographic region in Africa. A selected group of listed mining companies present concise updates on their African project(s) to analysts from the Minerals Resources Analysts Group and senior representatives from the Canadian financial and mining communities. The presentations will assist our targeted audience in making informed investment decisions, recommendations, and - in the case of senior mining companies - outline specifically what they are looking for in a junior joint venture partner.

Black Economic Empowerment Seminars

Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) is the single most important suite of legislation affecting business today in South Africa - with increasing implications for other Southern African countries.
