About MineAfrica

MineAfrica is a business development company with a primary focus on promoting mining investment in Africa, and a secondary focus on promoting bilateral trade and investment between Canada and Southern Africa. This is done via four specific programs;
  1. Investing in African Mining Seminars, in Vancouver on June 17, 2008 (with Premier Sponsor Fasken Martineau), London on Dec. 1, 2008 (with Premier Sponsor Standard Bank), and Toronto on Mar. 3, 2009. The Toronto program during the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) trade show also includes the following additional options:
      •Participation and Sponsorship at the Canada-South Africa Chamber of Business 10th Annual Mining Breakfast (March 3, 2009) with keynote speaker Gordon Miller, Chief Executive Officer, First Uranium •Presentation and Sponsorship at MineAfrica's 7th Annual "Investing in African Mining" Seminar, (March 3, 2009) •An optional booth presence at the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) trade show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (March 1-4, 2009)

  2. Specialized seminars including Black Economic Empowerment in South Africa's Mining Industry; Canada's first such seminar held March 3, 2007 in Toronto and London, UK (with Premier Sponsor Standard Bank) on November 20, 2007.

  3. Africa Investor Series co-sponsored by the Minerals Resources Analysts Group. The series is a unique program of interactive, boutique seminars themed around a specific geographic region, or commodity, in Africa. A selected group of listed mining companies present concise updates on their African project(s) to analysts and senior representatives from the Canadian financial and mining communities. The presentations assist our targeted audience in making informed investment decisions, recommendations, and - in the case of senior mining companies - outline specifically what they are looking for in a junior joint venture partner.

  4. Consulting and business development services including trade and investment promotion, marketing and communications, technical consulting and advisory services for private and public sector, mining and non-mining clients
